Forever My Companion

I wrote this for my best friend, she is truly amazing.

Forever my companion

you're always there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on
listening to be vent about the craziest of things
never once judging me no matter how "off the wall" my ideas were
I find comfort in your prescense
you make me comfortable being me
you're more than my best friend, you're my sister
God does answer prayers
he gave me you
we grew together
from freshman to senior year and beyond
the drama wasn't enough to separate us
true friends, real friends stick it out through it all
like us
I'm crazy and I know it but you accept me and my abstract ideas
my eccentric personality
you're one in a million
what would I do without you
when two fish come together we're unbreakable
swimming through life's sea
Pisceans
I thank you
your open heart and open mind is what I prayed for years
I'm blessed beyond measures
you're literally my backbone
this is for the years to come
forever my companion
I love you to the moon and back

Reading this poem, I could feel that the love I have felt for others reflected, a sign that others can feel as I do having their best friend at their side. I have a sister myself, and from childhood we have been each other's shoulder to cry on, best friend and companion. i wonder if your bestfriend knows. Theres plenty of love in these words....in these lines. You must be a great friend also. They make me think maybe i can get thrugh the rough times with alot of my friends because i just let things go. I don't hold on to when friends aren't willing to work with me.
