A poor mans thought

A poor mans thought

A Poem by g.n.b

Passing through the house , the dimensions changed
When i looked at you , my mind felt strange
It was not a range i was comfortable with
I am no jim , im just ordinary filth
Been brushed aside , no place to hide
then it was you in the corner
After that i did not feel like a foreigner
I raised from the dead , it truly  shocked the coroner
Not in a state to comprehend
i just wished the moment didn't end
The feeling eternal , the only second i didn't pretend
I wish i could hold your hands
Become free like the birds and cross the lands
But i was chained , chained to a mystery
We were new , but we do have history
If i state the obvious , will you look into my eyes
Deep inside till the soul cries
Take me with you , brush aside all the lies
an eternal life , travelling at a speed , it flies
I know we will be hard to find
Comfort your heart and lose your mind
It was gone , everything disappeared
The atoms collapsed , the universe felt strange
Is pain all we got , prisoner of time are we meant to rot
If i had a chance every war i would have fought
Its all an illusion just a poor mans thought
Only if it were real ,
baby only if it were real ,
The world would be you and me twenty four seven
You in my mind i don't need no heaven
Im just a dreamer ,
love just makes the world a little bit cleaner
I would have fought for an inch of your cloth
We can go through the universe , we can leave the lot
its all an illusion , its just a poor mans thought
