Spider Spider

Spider Spider

A Poem by Goodbyeguilt

Spider Spider

Spider Spider on my wall,
What is the glue that stops your fall?
I wait all day for your demise,
I don't see why you are so despised.

People are convinced of your wrath,
whilst others scream, I merely laugh.
Your little body, black and small;
I watch in wonder as you crawl.

You are my little mystery,
living a life, too tiny to see.
I'm fascinated by your life,
do you have spidey babies and spidey wife?

Alas your little legs run fast,
I leap to the left as you run past.
You make me feel ill, when you hide in the shower,
So I run the taps - they're on full power.

Sorry Spider, for this bitter end.
But you I just cannot befriend,
you sneaked into my washing room,
With your final act you sealed your doom.

A little bit of dark humor--I love it. There's not much compassion (or mercy) in this world for spiders. Good rhyming, Goodbyeguilt.
