Validation

Walk through life, never breathing a moment
Might as well run, but all so constant
The background moves, but I don't take a step
Lost in this world, with no one to vent

It all seems so bleak, when no one listens
We all need that one thing, just some validation
To make us feel, like this motion is true
To make us feel, just some adoration

Without that voice, that makes us feel accepted
Life is so still, like all is frozen
Give our lives some meaning, it may be superficial
But it gives us this feeling, I am the one that is chosen

We must go deeper, yearn for something more
Not just to relentlessly please, the crowd that doesn't feel
Make something of yourself, be your own light
To move on in this emptiness, this chasm shouldn't conceal.

Yes i belive validation is only temporary...until we find our true self we cannot move ahead in life and be our best
