Stranger no more

Stranger no more

A Poem by Webster

Screams in the distance, whispers hind my ear
A black mist rolls over, no sight no tear.
Distrubing silence in the voices, despair no doubt it is
That of lingering torment, leaves no space for smile nor bliss.

Misty darkness it seems so, yet such drying chills they woe
Breathing in that poison, no sight which way to go.
Must this fog forever creep behind, only to appear in my peak
To pull me back and drag me down, make me seem so meek.

Into the darkness must I walk, lest silent stagnance I then bear
For into this black that seems so endless, I must enter how shall I fare.
No choice I have but forth I go, trembling down to my toes
For to escape this madness inevitable, must begin somewhere I've been before.

There is but one that makes me shiver, for so many times as past
What happens when that time comes, that I enter only to not last.
But what choice I have but to go on ahead, as an old friend hand in hand
For in the end I do declare, no stranger I am to this land.

About
Do I write to fill a void deep inside, where others can never reach to fill. Only pure emotions flow through my words. I hope I reach out to others who feel the same as in words I write and emotions I.. more..
