A Poem by Joel Blaze Davila

So.
You know my parents.
Being a parent is hard, my mom raised me by herself...at least...until i got to the 4th grade.
My mom started using that f*****g monster when i was 9.
When your an addict life loses it's importance.
Before heroin,
Life had a certain flow, everything fell in its place.
After heroin,
Life
looses
that
certain
Flow
and
you
loose
everything.
All of it.
Your house
Your car
Your kids,
Yourself.
