A Poem by Grakercub
"

Here's a happy one for you.

"

Im taking a bourbon shower tomorrow night

I want you to join me.

Be you woman or man, I have no preference.

I don’t really want love.

Just a friend, some of that old fashioned liquid

And maybe a pack of smokes

God, we could go on day and night and ride a roller coaster.

If I kiss your skin after, don’t be alarmed.

I’m only trying to soak up the drunken bliss.

Those drunken bliss always ended with me sleeping on a park bench or breaking a drinking record I don't remember. Bourbon was my drink of youth. I was station in Germany.

Smokes and whiskey can blind us for a moment. Must get up to make money to buy more. I enjoyed this poem. I knew a few Irish Soldiers who fit the profile of this poem. A excellent poem.

Dude, love the ending. The whole thing perfectly explains being drunk and not giving a f**k. Just happy oblivion and inebriation.
