Finding Peace

Finding Peace

A Poem by Gray Witch
"

Unsettling paths....

"

Peace

I need to find peace,

I know it’s inside me.

Heartsease softly sways,

White leaves gently speak,

Tinged with yellow and violet,

Some say nature’s placebo.

Tranquility is lost,

I seek sweet serenity.

Solitude, quiet,

Recumbent, repose.

As I lay myself down,

Sleep seems to elude me.

Ataraxis, but still confused,

The way seems unclear,

For what I am searching,

Morning dawn lights the way.

I need only have faith,

In those who surround me.

Closure is uncertain,

But a path I must follow.

Trusting again

Those who offer to help.

It’s all I have left,

My shell is quite broken.

I cling to your words,

A panacea of sorts.

Looking forward to quiet,

Not backwards in chaos.

I’ll trust you once more

My life in your hands.
