180 Security Blanket

180 Security Blanket

A Poem by Green Regol

It

Gives

You

Warmth,

Warmth,

Wraps you in it's clutch.

It gives you everything you need

Even if it's all too much.

It gives you love,

Warmth,

Comfort.

But then one day it has to stop.

That thing which once you knew and always went to

Whenever you felt like you needed a hug,

It screams and sheds itself of all it's felt fabric and

It's really quite alarming when it's no more your rug.
