To Be Revised

A Poem by Gregor
"

I absolutely cherished it for a time (3 days perhaps) then lost sight of it. One of these days I'll go back to fixin' her up.

"

flat-roofed buildings interrupt at present,

the feeling which bellows to heaven

where are the gables and celestial trees

that pointed to higher more uncertain things?

felled by the latest meddling crusade,

masked as a jester

familiar is this tsunami we've made

always we fail when trying for better

looking back for a golden past

spirited echoes call from forward, not back!

stuck in a gulf, the deepest of holes

no climbing out: we can't see the whole
