The Fallen Heros Tale

The Fallen Heros Tale

A Poem by Battlecry
"

This poem is about post-traumatic stress disorder and the soldiers who suffer from it.

"

Basked in the glory of luminous light

Granted now the chance

We fight

Clashed in the battle of turbulent strife

Planted now the grace

Our life

Taken from, turned around upside down

We continue to uphold and show our faith within this town

Chaotic and moronic, many mundane little details

Quite atomic, so platonic all the dreams that we have tailed

Tasked with the struggle of curtailing blight

Slanted now the hill

Our might

Slashed with the torture of perilous pride

Tainted now with craze

They thrive

most enigmatic I say, imo centered creations should not incorporate such attempts of rhyme, the internal works only just a bit better... as soon as I saw 'strife' I knew you were struggling, sometimes words alone are not enough............ sorry... Brendan
