What is a Dream

An ode I wrote about dreams and passion.

What are dreams?

Are they moments of learning?

Perhaps it is a passion that burns within our hearts…

Or maybe it is the thoughts that scorch our brains with imaginative and creativeness, branding them into our skull and becoming one with such thoughts.

Could they be something unspoken without a word, yet carry more meaning than a five-hundred paged book?

Is it something that everyone has yet no ones is the same?

Something no one can lose or gain?

Is a dream even a thing?

Can it be held in your hands, tightly squeezed, or held up by a smoothly quick breeze?

Maybe it is something of a wish…

Something unobtainable yet within reach!

Something so far yet so close!

A dream is the golden sun setting within the rainbow colored sky!

It is the soul of the music maker!

The heart of the artist!

The mind of the wordsmith!

The courage of a leader!

The perspective of a changer!

The worlds essence in its nature!

It is strong!

It is brave!

It is true!

It is a dream.

A dream, yes…a dream…It is only…Just…A dream…
