Torn Angels

Torn Angels

A Poem by GustyMoon

Torn apart from distant souls, we seek to enlighten ourselves with
fairytale facades. when angels blissfully coincide with eager endeavor,
they are vainly left behind with unbounded vows, transparent dreams and
love seems like its out of control, I missed the part where you tell me
to let go. In favor of clashing cold hearts we never look back, this
thorn in my side, the pain that masks the memories I hide. kept safe in
your deceit, and you lost me at the part where you wanted more. All I
had was a shadow of myself, lost in a dark sea of uncertainty, so take
the blade from my back when you walk away, whoever said never was easy,
my heart as my alibi, I have seen nothing but the worst in you tonight.
