Peace Sister

Peace Sister

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

There's a Gypsy in me who needs to bring about peace but may not always be around to keep the peace.

"
Peace sister, you gotta love me
even with the make-up and rings.
I bring peace, love and good fortune
to all who let's me sing.
For I am a Gypsy Dreamer
a free bird flying away...
I may be here tomorrow
but gone the very next day.
I'll feel you with all my heart
and pray for what is best...
I'll smile at you that morning
and at night I get no rest.
You may see me dancing
by a fire light under the stars...
in my black laced up boots,
in a trance gone too far.
Peace sister, you gotta love me
my palm it does say...
I may be here tomorrow
but gone the very next day.

The poem is so beautiful. It flowed like a gentle whisper. You told a very good story. Sometime we must allow the people who come quickly and leave too fast to be the good memories in our life. Total poem was amazing. Thank you.

I love it. Just one mistake.

'in a trance gone to far.' I think you mean too.

This is nicely written and I like the rhyme scheme!
