War in Heaven (II)

Lucifer cried to his father above...
"What's this my lord? Where is the love?
You cast us down to fly no more...
through the heavens we no longer soar".

Our father in heaven already knew...
the deceptive nature Lucifer used.
Just as a parent, he understood...
granted his wishes as he knew he would.

All the angles together they worked...
the heavenly, the fallen, all on this earth.
A mist of water covered the ground...
the angels all formed man with no sound.

He could not move, a lifeless limp...
none of the angels could awaken him.
Lucifer needed form to feel the ground...
God had a different plan all around.

He had created... all angels above...
even in sin, he was about love.
It was his plan for Lucifer to fall...
to remove sin once and for all.

Only God... could give spirit and life.
He breathed soul into man despite all the strife.
Sinless and pure as the heavenly snow...
man took a breath never to know.

A mate was made... for him soon after...
God tried to protect them from disaster.
But Lucifer's scheme was taking form...
as he disguised as a serpent one morn.

His devilish plan was to cause them to sin...
this way he and his angels would win.
With lies deception, lust and greed...
the pair had no chance, the plan would succeed.

As foul spirits entered into their minds...
they awakened to sin for all of mankind.
With God being pure, he could no longer dwell...
so close to the earth, so close to hell.

A connection he made, Holy Spirit it's name...
we can feel God's spirit when we call on his name.
God felt... for his fallen one-third...
to give them a chance in flesh is unheard.

With all the darkness, the evil, and sin...
Our father's glory is recognized by men.
If not for dark, the light is not shone...
The light is so bright! Our Father is known!
