Loss

Loss

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

For Isabelle (you were loved are loved and always will be loved)

"

Have you ever needed to write
but knew it was to soon?
The hurt was so damn deep
with memories... no room.

The mind was filled with emotions...
sad, mad, depressed, despair.
You couldn't imagine happiness...
to love or to care.

All you seem to muster
is walls to hide from pain
yet this sick impending feeling
of loss still remains.

You want it... all back
the way it used to be...
Smiles, laughter and fun...
wild happy and free.

Have you ever needed to write
but knew it was to soon?
All the words come out
with feelings blocked by gloom.

Yes that has happened to me this year all too much. I really felt the desparation in this piece, as I have been right in this poem at least 3 times this year. Loss is a strange thing indeed.

Yes, for many of years until expressing yourself with a pen (or keyboard) was the only way to defeat the hurt and gloom. Your Isabelle will be waiting for you; meanwhile she's in good hands me dear. x The bookends to this poem are excellent... very you. ~T
