My Security Net

My Security Net

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

"It's been here all along"

"

I fell... from the sky...
into a net of security.

As I grew...
the net thinned out...
all the way into maturity.

As the first... two created...
No sin... did I know.

then my fruit ripened...
my net fell apart...
a seed started to grow.

A... nother came about...
a... nother like me.

I kept it safe...
so warm in place...
it was mine to keep.

In this... big ole world...
there is only girl and boy...

opposites yes...
made to fit... I guess...
to bring a rejoices joy.

My security net my family gave
when I was just a babe...

Is still around...
invisible now...
yet I can see with faith.

I agree with the poem. Memories of family keep us sane and on the right path. People may be invisible to our vision. Their faces and voices are never forgotten. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
