Temptation

Temptation

A Poem by Ashlyn Olivia

Hear hollow angels sing
Falling weak to foreign kins
Ship wrecked minds
Starving souls
Hearts made of pure coal
Take not from me
My sanity
For it is the only thing I hold dearly
Wishful night
Dream today
In between
Bow head and pray
Running cogs behind my eyes
Precessing
Categorizing
Mountain sides
What is worth the climb
Spoken in miniature size
It's not you nor I
""No Name" capitalized
We hear the cry
For salvation
Defeat temptationTemp
