Nothing but a flowerA Poem by Zombified SpiderCrush me... you already did itI am nothing but a flower. A daisy, petunia, dandelion, sunflower, lily, or maybe a rose with thorns so sharp. Just swaying in the breeze. Waiting on nothing but the sun. Waiting on nothing but good days and water. Waiting until I'm stepped on by careless feet or picked by a child to be patted into hair with a smile or put into a bouquet. Put on display for someone to come and choose me out of a million others, put in water and watch as I try to survive. But I will wilt in a vase, as I yearn for the wild where I belong.
