A Sunflower's Repose

A Sunflower's Repose

A Poem by Travis Gibson (poetic heroics)
"

For Laii-Ana Junai Monroe Gibson, my "little one."

"
When a flower blooms
and it's just too soon...
does the wind weep to the moon?
Would a Sunray sit and pray
that one day,
this broken heart
will be ok?

I think the sunray would.
I like the hope expressed in this.
a very touching, gentle write that soothes...

Thank you, friend. I would like to think the sunray would as well. Your words are appreciated.
