Time Trip

For all those folks

who are not happy here

let's take a time trip

see you in a year

the first stop is here

monsters all around

walk softly my friend

almost making no sound

ssshhhh it hears you

run now, run fast

it is coming close

how long will it last

blink, gone in a second

next stop is here

soldiers are just standing

the yanks are coming dear

hop back on the train

to a time when some knowledge

gets a witch beheaded

and her family no college

all the folks are smiling

all are so carefree

wait no alcohol

this stops not for me

the trip begins again

where are we headed

to a simple time 

were any illness is dreaded

out of this time

go strong into another

all women will cook

all men will love their mother

but wait you see

not all it's supposed to be

for the vote is not equal

human flesh has a fee

jumping the train

next stop is clear

drugs,peace and rallies

running mouths ,teaching fear

at the same time

education so light

dropping nuclear bombs

just to see if their right

hit the alarm clock,

smack it again

2013 is looking better

for you my unhappy friend.

Haha this is awesome! This piece reminds me of the movie BACK TO THE FUTURE. I love that movie.this is very creative. "What no alcohol, this stops not for me " I love that line. Well penned.
