Fear stopped Fate

Fear stopped Fate

A Poem by Holly Mason

Willing waters rush all around you.
Sounds of years echo behind.
Peaceful feelings engulf when near.
Heart stirrings move the soul.
Loving thoughts take hold.
Tongue withheld, nerves contemplate.
So deep, to long.
Loves waiting room, full.
Alone, fear won,fate wronged.

I Like it. Brings me to a most strange place..... the waiting room at the hospital when my grandpa would have to visit for check-ups, and they always had this scent pumped in the vents of flowers, and this music "tranquil and nature-like" played while I was there. The first half of the poem couldn't be anymore peaceful. ; ) The second half is picked up quickly, being a realist, but it's enjoyed to its end...... xoxo -Mark

thank you much*)
Fear is a defense mechanism. Natural protection, not only for the body, but heart as well. Fear also tricks people into believing something isn't taking place when there most defiantly is. Burring the head in the sand.

yes it does and thank you very much for reading
I like this poem. It's short and so true. Fear kills everything. How many people didn't become someone because of fear?

the waiting room is too full, sometimes we just have to call our own number.
