Big Bully Wave

Big Bully Wave

A Poem by Holly Mason

I am the biggest wave
move out of my way
little waves are so unnoticed
I am the sea itself
banging on the shore
little waves struggle
I am roaring today
move aside for greatness
little wave stands still
where is my crash
where is my tide
without little waves
current cannot build strength
undertow consumed the strong
little wave ripples, happily

I like the comparison of little waves and big waves. A good way to look at things.
