Sincerely a Rose

Sincerely a Rose

A Poem by Holly Mason

false idols, false gods
so says the daisy to the rose
behind, the  wind streams
the moon beams
lakes of mirrors glow
rose will know
daisy is so blessed
but now she must confess
false whispers ,false arrest
beauty at best
rose sighs
angels cry
beautiful daisy
why do you lie
because rose is more
beautiful then I

who can compete with a Rose ??? I like Meg Ryan's character in You've Got Mail, where she says Daisies are the Cheeriest Flower !

Everyone is beautiful in their own way... problem is we spend so much time comparing ourselves to others.
