Souls are Wet

Souls are Wet

A Poem by Holly Mason

Souls are wet
drenched with sweat
coming of the days
to be met
they are waiting
for a path to find
hopelessly searching for the right
body and mind
souls are wet
drenched with sweat
for this single purpose
to be met
coming over the microscope
having fallen so slowly
with puffs of white smoke
searching to know me
souls are wet
drenched with sweat
they are thinking
have we met

Another amazing piece from you my friend. Do I know you? Between 'puffs of white smoke' and 'sweat', you look familiar. Good one!

Hahahaha you're on!
It takes mental work to keep the mind sharp enough to keep up with this fast paced world. Your words are as slick as an oil spill. I mean that in a great way.

I read it in a great way I love it
slick as an oil spill....exactly*)
Fits perfectly with my thinking. Methinks that all souls, old and new, never forget those contacts they have had and makes us think , "do we know each other" when they meet. Deja Vu is just a fancy term for this. Souls never lose that connection.
Nice one Holly

Deja Vu_I forgot about that amazing word...so thank you or is it words...Deja Vu so fun
power in a spirit filled soul,to let souls touch,to fill the truck bed with two hearts beating
as one, don't mind the rain, it is all good.
