Just a Moment Ago

Just a Moment Ago

A Poem by Holly Mason

We often wonder
as parents
Are we doing a good job?
then comes the time
just a moment ago...

My oldest daughter looked to me
and said so soft, so endearing, so sweetly.
"Mom can you raise my kids?"
"I was laying in bed last night thinking,"
"I don't think anyone can do the job as good as you."
Then I told her,
"That was the kindest thing ever said to me."
just a moment ago
Now written
so in my worst moment,
I can remember...
the power of powerful words.
Can take away anything.
just a moment ago

How, I wish I had such a bond with my mom, as you do, Holly, with your daughter. To lighten the heaviest load, which we carry, in our hearts. How I envy you, and your relationship. Your welcome and thank you, for sharing.
