Resembling a Poem

Resembling a Poem

A Poem by Holly Mason

casting skies with yellow and red
lovingly her fingers softly bled
hopefully with morning light
she desends from a stage of fright
open soul a character does play
opening lips but no words to say
scathing eyes on her face do stare
drooling lust does not mean care
a word here ,a misplacement there
but without word truancy climbing stairs
minds locked up on an empty stage
working fools receiving no wage
a corset, a dance, a frock in the wind
resembling a poem is not writing sin
trances are set, minds shed to open
keep her clearly from words unspoken
on this side or that, one to be fair
all famous in our own minds word play a dare
critical cries from a soul so saddened
placement laid where their words will have them
the stage is set, draw the curtain, it is open
watching carelessly even when resembling a poem

A
Harmony exist
Where none did
Before.

Carried away
To a magical place
Where the skilled hand
Of a poetess touches
Our minds and hearts
With her words.

what lovely words
thank you so kindly
really love the expression of these thoughts..."a corset, a dance, a frock in the wind

resembling a poem is not writing sin

trances are set, minds shed to open

keep her clearly from words unspoken

on this side or that, one to be fair"
