sssshhh the darkness comes to call

listen intently for the devil to fall

he lays a pattern, a lesson, a line

hoping in your soul he will soullessly find

an empty, an echo, a heart chime not there

devil of a trick to the lonely who dare

evader in thicket, hide in the dark

the soul is now open starving and stark

sensationalism pocket is the devils hard man

keep up with him in the darkening land

surrender the cloak of an encompassing soul

screaming for an instance but no one was told

oh devil, oh devil leave this soul be

a trick, a phony, in a soulless sea

this is like "the Entity" but in a metaphorical/figurative sense rather than what literally happened in that situation.
