Castle Walls

Castle Walls

A Poem by Hachamecha

I can't stop them

my tears

Big, fat drops

running down my cheeks

hurry, get some mops

my saddness grows

the temperature drops

the bubble around me

my wall of defense

buit up over time

to protect you from the saddness

that flows from me

like slime

pops

My wall of defense

behind my castle walls

it's empty in here

why am I here?

It doesn't make sense

But I remember

too quickly

it pains me

it makes me sick

Colder than the winds in December

my empty castle walls

so here's a trick

so take your pick

you build up a wall of hate

my wall

built from my saddness

You try to get through my walls

But I can't hear you

my walls are too thick

You try to get in

you hit low in my hate

my walls crumble

I am scared

my walls have broken

my castle destroyed

You get me out of the rubble

with your soul, heart, and love

For me, it was like the poem was telling a story and at the end, someone finally reaches the person and tries to save them, in a way.

I liked it, good job.
