Alice fell into wonderland
The world of her dreams With a blood red queen who kills with a flick of her hand This kingdom is not what it seems With the mad hatter and Cheshire cat Drinking tea and Leary grin While Alice, waltzed into the tea party and sat Oblivious to the frustration she would be in Frivolous riddles and 'why not's?' Babies turning into pigs mismatched saucers and pots Cards for soldiers, flamingos for clubs, As if candy canes make up ships rigs Her facts never came out right Her shape changing from so many sizes What is wrong, or is she just not very bright? Madness has many disguises Alice never fell into wonderland Wonderland fell into Alice With the feeling of madness-isn't grand? The air is full of unspoken malice Off with her head! She unknowingly yells at night Thrashing and crackling in her bed Clenching her hands around her victim with all her might The queen of hearts, Making a blood red path Poor knave, accused of stealing the tarts Encountering the kings' and queens' wrath The court is mad The hatter never did finish his tea With a bellowing king, the hatter is sad This means he will never quite finish his tea, you see? Constant beheadings, A story of a lobster dance. This kingdom is mad indeed. © 2012 HachamechaAuthor's Note
