Hating everything  It's not supposed to be this way.  My soul was supposed to sing  It was supposed to be merry and gay. I wasn't supposed to be the black sheep.  I didn't want to be the wild one To party all night instead of sleep As my parents said, the devil already won Kicked out Purity ring has no meaning If life was a road, I took the wrong route I am no good, just a soul dreaming.  I screwed up life No second chances Just me and night life No more second glances Can't see past the Booze Everything's a haze  Shouts of 'you lose' The drunk mind is a maze Drinking life away I try to forget, numb the pain Leading myself astray In this dirty business, there's nothin I could gain I'm a creature of the night, denied the sun.  I'm not the only thing getting waisted.  Drinking away with lonely abandon  I'm just wallowing in the dark void I created
