Written for my partner who suffered a memory loss due to his tumor.

Remember

Remember those nights?
The smiles underneath the stars?
Remember?
Those nights spent laughing inside the car?

We laughed til dawn
And when the sun beams
Cheek to cheek
We got lost in our dreams

Remember the fogged glass?
The hearts we drew
Marking a new beginning
As if we had a clue

Remember?
The coffee, the candles,
The sunsets
And the cuddles

Intertwined
Your fingers in mine
Remember?
We have always been that fine

Do you remember?
That night when you first said those words
That night when you opened up your palms
My answers you heard

It took us awhile,
along dark winding paths,
To reach the end, 
To reach to our other half

Remember...
Those nights, the laughs and the tears
Remember... 
I have and will always be here.

i always do enjoy your writes and your writes make me smiley all the time. I can feel your writes every time by your words. I always made some sketches in my mind of your writes...or poem's each characters as well.
