Heaven weeps from the sins we created

While the golden gates begin to close.

I will remain here on earth with you

To face the judgement that is fated

No one else needs to know

For the mistakes we've made

Are ours alone...

Even if our very existence slowly fades

Just like a long distant voice over the telephone.

But if Heaven decided to let you in

Don't look back to me

For I have sinned

But do understand

No one else will ever hold my hand

Because I will wait for you in agony

While I'm tormented with fear

The waiting will be the hard part

Since no one else is near

Like a stake through my heart

With each sob, comes a tear...
