A way to escape destruction, i chose love.

Hope for the better, keeps us holding on to the things we love.

Darkness looms another day

And I feel fear to my dismay

with all the love and faith in my heart

I still get the feeling that we will be apart

I know this life may not last so long

so I spend each moment writing us a love song

I wouldn't mind if the world came to end now

As long as we can hold each others hands some how

With all the death and destruction about

Giving in to such hatred...I shall not bow

Anything can happen has long as we are alive

Which is why I still believe there is hope for you and I

the world would be a better place if it was given a hug

with not much time to spare and not much words to say
