Halloween

Halloween or as I like to call it

Spooky season

It’s scary

It’s thrilling

It’s fun

Just imagine your around seventeen

In your home

In your room or basement

With you’re friends

Or by yourself

Watching scary movies

Eating junk food like

Popcorn or candy

It sounds fun right

Well that is what Halloween is about

To go trick or treating

Or to listen to the screams and laughs

Of the kids

Or to be one of those kids having the most fun

Or if you’re an adult to just buy a bunch of candy

For yourself or fo your family

Either way you know it’s going to be eaten

But Halloween to me

It the best holiday

The one holiday where you don’t have to be yourself

The one holiday where you can be free

It is one of my favorites

I have five grandchildren. We roam the Halloween cornfields and we enjoy the nights of Halloween. I agree. Halloween is the time we can become someone else. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
