Sunset Rose

Sunset Rose

A Poem by Shadow Blue
"

Rose in seasons cycle

"
Sunset flower,scarlet rose
Scent of summer
in sharpened velvet
Bees within you
Breeze without
scatters petals
on the ground
Rose to blossom
Flower to seed
Seed to shoot
and flowers to feed
drowsy bees and butterflies
and lovers under
Summer skies

This simple piece made me think of the interconnectedness of different elements, within nature. It doesn't rhyme or have separate verses, but helps to inspire some pleasant images in one's mind; culminating in that final reference to lovers under Summer skies. A "mindful" poem too, perhaps.
