The Fiddler and The Wolverine

The Fiddler and The Wolverine

A Poem by Hardesty

"
On a Day,
A Fiddler was on His Travels,
Then Come from The Wood,
Came A Wolverine.

The Fiddler Played
The Most Calming Tune
To Relax the Beast's Rage,
But the Beast did not Falter
And Attacked,
And The Fiddler Cried in Pain,

"Why You Beast!
Why Did You Attack,
When I Played Such
An Angelic Score!"

The Wolverine Laughed,
"How Foolish of You!
To Try to Bring Peace,
To Me a Beast,
When Everything Sounds Like War!"

And The Wolverine Ate Him,
Until There Was Nothing More.
"I Don't Like Much,"
Said the Wolverine,
"But This Fiddler Tasted Better,
Than The Fiddler Before!"
