Or Lack Thereof

Or Lack Thereof

A Poem by Harriet Rose
"

This is sort of a ranty poem.

"

I don't like myself

I don't like how I look

I don't like me

I don't like who I am with you

I don't like who I am with them

I don't like my clothes

or my sense of fashion

or lack thereof.

I don't like you

I don't like how you look at me

I don't like you

I don't like who you are with me

I don't like who you are with her

I don't like how you treat her

I don't like your personality

or lack thereof.

I don't like this feeling

I don't like how it feels

to be hated so passionately

by all who know me

I don't like this feeling

of being pushed out

of every social situation

I don't like how one of you speaks to me at a time

like it’s some sort of a rotation

for the arduous task of knowing me

I don’t like all the ‘friends’ I have

or lack thereof.
