CATASTROPHE

The birds didn't chirp that morning,
Rather were crying looking at me through the window

For what I had done to me , the turmoil
Oh not me , a tiny small virus had done

A tiny small virus dancing in the air
Has made us all dance to its tune

It is happy that it had found a home in my lung
But here , it's my family tree that has been hung

Lost many people , lost them suddenly
It happened all so fast ,that I remember it vividly

Losing family is such an apocalypse
That how can I explain it to u in a few verse

The fear that creeps inside while I go out of the house
It's such like a night that been kept as a trap for the mouse

Oh, when will all this be over , I wait
To all the old good times I had all are just put on hold

This is the reality we find ourselves in. A world of pestilence. One that attacks the and mind. Makes us hate with its sickness. Even nature fears this disease. Thank you for sharing this poem.
