Magic

Magic

A Poem by Hazel Turnet

The world is full of magic
A tree house can be the crows nest of a ship
Birds can carry tiny people on their back
A garden can be a jungle

Magic is everywhere
In the air we breathe
The water we drink
And the world itself

Magic is love
A true love's kiss
A sacrifice
And simple acts of kindness

Magic is powerful
From nightmares
To day dreams
To three wishes

Magic is good and evil
Wicked witches
Fairy godmothers
And genuies

Magic is not what we see with our eyes
But what we believe in our hearts.
