A poem about IA East's IASA team

A Stage Like No Other

As people they are individuals,

Each one different with personalities unlike others

Each so different, no cohesion, no conformity,

So different, so separate, so solitary

Such different people just as a school can be

 

Yet when they come together as one

Worlds collide and bring upon beauty

Such grace and poise of dancing beings

Yet powerful and strong, they bhangra supreme

Something that our world has never seen

 

So different but as dancers, they are a great scene

The board shows how they are a different team

With the flirt, the Canuck, the short, and the clumsy one

They somehow make this show more than great fun

Something that no other board could ever have done

 

Yeah this team might be from the IA East

Filled with nerds and weirdasses and undesirable things

Yet somehow they make our school feel complete

Their dancing and drama is something that we all need

This IASA group is IA’s number one team
