My Pegasus

It must have been moon-glow intoxication

entering my soul one lonely night,

a night when I thought all was lost in heaven

and earth, when I could no longer stand my

loveless existence ~

The ink black sky opened in a burst of

gold and rainbow colours clambering

to embrace this lonely poetess

whose pen had dried like the shell of a fallen

star exposed to uncertain elements of

a changeable cosmos ~

You, my saviour of the night

keeper of my dreams

rescuer of this woman locked in a castle

high on the rugged cliffs of loneliness

overlooking an angry sea

ready to drown all hopes ~

You came in answer to my call

I never gave up that the Gods’ would hear

my prayers carried in whispers on

wings to your heart "

Come my Pegasus...

ride across the heavens

your home of uncountable stars

with your golden bridle of love

to the precious place in my heart

held only for you ~

O! My God. I've been waiting to hear from you. You came with this original voice and imagery recreated. Stanza three really touched and remaind me of your seemly absent from the cafe. And been awken by a Pegasus probably the muse behind your creativity. Your metaphor, personifiation are all recognized and superb to the intecllection memory.
