Universal Language

Universal Language

A Poem by Andre Peterson

When hopes and dreams become a reality, you shall never be the same.
You shall see the endless green rolling hills and feel the soft breeze.
To understand pure love and all of its wonders.
To stand where fearless men stood.
To have no worries, to press on without hesitation.
Can you imagine it?
Speak with meaning that the whole world can understand.
You could learn the universal language.
Share memories with you brothers and sisters.
Their eyes would be filled with lessons and ideas you've always wanted to know.
And who knows, perhaps that boy from the desert knows something of value to you.
Perhaps the girl who has stared far into the skies horizons her whole life could dazzle you with her own dreams.
Their art and their music shall release your soul.
The colors and bold lines will leave you speechless.
The melody of strings would lure you to sleep.
The smile of a new friend will make you look forwards to tomorrow.
Creating a paradise.
Truly living life.
You will know where home is.
Without borders or invisible lines.
To embrace the way someone could see heaven in you.
And be amazed at their patience day after day.
You shall know when you are there.
In happiness and peace.
How could something so wonderful be just a dream?
I guess in time, in my own time.
It shall all be real.
