I remember when you told me you loved me
But I couldn't stop you from going

I can't stop this pain so I'll just throw it away
I can't get you off my mind so I'll just run away

Cuz I can't escape all the dreams We tried to make
Now I have nightmares even when I'm awake

You played the game I can't believe you were fake
Even if you came back it wouldn't be the same
