Stillborn

Stillborn

A Poem by Life Inside Death

Heaven is one seat larger
You were taken away...
Stillborn, my son
You didn't deserve to leave this way
Internal conflicts aborted your life
And neglectful habits of my soon to be wife
May you sleep in peace tonight

I never knew an angel could come to earth
Until the day I witnessed your birth
Save a place for me
We can be a family
Just don't hate my name
Now you can breathe again
Somewhere up above
