Our Night

Don't be afraid..
I'm here.
Do not feel betrayed.
For I am here.
I'm going to turn off the light.
That shines too bright.

 

We'll go out at night.
The moon will disappear.
It will fade away,
My dear.
The darkness of the night.
Will turn pitch black.

And we won't have to holdback..

 

Your face,
I won't be able to see.
Our feelings will glow.
Can you see the view?
Open your heart.
You'll see it, even though it's dark..
I promise I'll treasure what you have given me.
I'll embrace it.

What we have is beautiful.
With our chalks,
We'll draw all night.
Until the sun rises.
I'll be gone.

You'll wake up..
Missing something,

that I've promised to embrace.

The words 'cut off' and the word 'doodle' do not fit here, you might as well find better alternatives. Otherwise, I think this poem had lots of dimmed lights and heartfelt love. It made me cry and I feel sad and happy both at once. :'( KWN (keep writing nicely)
