Pain Does

To harp on pain, but not for too long, while still delivering a ray of Hope!

Darling, I’ve seen what the pain does,
Those tears in your eyes
Turning time into blisters that bleed
Somewhere out there.. In the great beyond...
There are eyes that keep watch over us as we cry
We yield to what we grieve for, the love that was lost..
And tears aren't enough to reveal how our hearts feel,
Nothing's enough to tell our hearts how to heal
All the rust in my eyes from the light in those lies,
Now when the rain comes, I force myself to sleep
‘Tis better to dream than lie awake with your ghost..

I feel that everyone has experienced this at least once, if not multiple times during their life. I particularly like the line, "Nothing's enough to tell our hearts how to heal" Great sense of emotions here!

It's just what exactly do feel when we can't handle situations...I can feel these things..I just don't know how to tell that your poetry has the truth of the universe that pain exist..nice work...keep sharing
