Extinction of my Existence

Extinction of my Existence

A Poem by Holly O'Brien

The smell of rotting flesh on my bones

I can see my soul falling away

I hunger for the warmth of blood

It will still the itch in my throat

Unable to speak audible words

What is becoming of me?

Take a look at the empty world around us

In the beginning we were promised nothing

Cold heart

It may as well not be there

Soon  I will be numb

And the burden can be gone away

I’m looking forward to

Discovering where we go

When we all die

When death arrives

Wow Very Very Deep write
Well hopfuly we will all go to heaven
But your words bring images to my mind of a vampire that never
dies it actually reminded me a little of true blood
though i felt awe as i read it
I love it great job!

Death, oh so mysterious, or is it? I guess we won't know until we find out and then we can't really tell anybody. Well, that sucks. But this piece is definitely one to make the mind exercise itself a little bit....
