Sympathy

Sympathy

A Poem by Julia Hollywood
"

I had to clean out my computer and I found this. Let me know what you think.

"

Every Dream I have
Ends up with the
Alarm clock
Screaming in
My ear.

Every day
I watch
Another one
Just disappear.

I cannot possibly
Think
Of a way to describe
How it feels.

Every day,
I try my hardest
Not to feel
Anything at all.

Don’t wanna be
Weighed down,
By your stupid emotions.

Every day
I turn away.
Don’t want to
Talk about it.

No
I’d rather hide it all away,
Don’t care what the toll may be
On me.

I can’t stand your sympathy.

Author's Note

Julia Hollywood
I suck at poetry, it's really not my thing. Don't be surprised by the fact that it sucks.
