the rain makes me feel better

it seems as if the world is sad

I'm sad, and it's like we are sad together

the smell of rain on asphalt

It's relaxing and stimulating

but the world's different when it halts

the sun comes, and people smile

I don't smile at the sun

they hang with friends and all the while

I sit at home, looking out the window

praying for a drop of rain

to resemble the drops on my pillow
